5. Ayurvedic Massage: this type is perhaps among the oldest some 5,000 years old if not more. Translated as “science of life”, this massage aims at bringing your body, mind and consciousness in complete balance. Recognized by World Health Organization (WHO) as a health science, Ayurveda can do wonders to your mind and body.

6. Shiatsu Massage: loosely translated it means “finger pressure” and it involves a massage like acupressure but using fingers. It last for about 45 minutes, time in which the massage therapist would smooth the energy paths of the body clearing all obstacles in the path of the flow of energy.

Massages are normally administered with the client under the sheets with clothing they are comfortable removing with the utmost care to ensure that boundaries are respected. In some parts of Thailand, Bangkok and other such exotic tourist places, massages can end into sexual activity.
